The Christy Recipro-Grater (model 2-RG) is designed to answer the problem of handling ingredients containing medium-to-high moisture content such as cheese and onion. Utilizing a unique reciprocating Grid Die design, the 2-RG operating system is specifically designed to defeat the common bridging and clumping problems that arise with traditional depositors with rotary shaft designs. Christy offers a variety of Grid Die designs to accommodate a wide variety of material sizes and textures ranging between watery re-hydrated onion, oily bacon bits, soft crumbled egg, and most streusel recipes.
